Planning is already underway for Automechanika Frankfurt, which will take place in September 2024. The most important international meeting place for the automotive aftermarket will start with new focal themes, driven by current developments and challenges in the industry.
Automechanika Frankfurt, which will take place from 10 to 14 September 2024, is already casting its shadow a year in advance. The trade fair organisers are expecting renowned companies from all over the world who have already registered to take part in the most important international industry event for the automotive aftermarket. Olaf Mußhoff, Director of Automechanika Frankfurt, explains: “After the successful restart last year, we are expecting even more international visitors and exhibitors at the next Automechanika Frankfurt. Numerous international companies, which were not able to take part in 2022, have already announced that they will be back in September 2024.“
The trade fair is launching with new focal themes. In view of the increasingly rapid transformation, all industry players are required to adapt to current requirements and developments. Today, new products and solutions are more in demand than ever before – these can be seen and experienced live at the fair in a unique breadth and depth. This is because Automechanika Frankfurt is the only international platform that presents the entire spectrum of innovations along the entire value-added chain of the automotive aftermarket.
The subject of sustainability is also driving the entire sector – and is reflected both in the programme and in the exhibition halls. In a special area on the topic of sustainability, OEMs and suppliers will present their sustainable ideas, products, solutions and processes. In addition, the ‘Remanufacturing Day’ will take a closer look at opportunities and trends in the circular economy. OEMs, suppliers and the entire automotive aftermarket have had this topic on their agenda for many years and will be showing their latest products, processes and materials that contribute to sustainable mobility at the fair.
Another important topic is the continuing trend towards digitalisation, as well as the topics of artificial intelligence and supply chain, which affect workshops as well as trade and industry. Digital solutions and services, in particular data acquisition, analysis and use in workshops, run through the entire range of products and services at Automechanika.
Further training is important and will be a focus topic at the next Automechanika. The popular workshops on accident-damage management will be held for the first time in hall 11. In addition, the Automechanika Academy offers a wide range of lectures and panel discussions on current trends and developments.
The shortage of skilled workers and the subject of recruiting are moving the entire sector. Automechanika Frankfurt brings talented people together and offers companies the opportunity to address young professionals directly and get to know them.
In addition, events for exchanging ideas and networking are planned, such as a CEO breakfast and topic-specific networking areas. Automechanika Frankfurt offers exhibiting companies new, attractive participation options – from a plug-in stand and a prominent position in the Innovation4Mobility area to a lecture in the Automechanika Academy, including a recording.
